Brady McMillen is a retired member of the Mississippi Highway Patrol with over 27 years of creditable service. Mr. McMillen has been active as an accident reconstructionist since November of 1994. While on the Patrol, Mr. McMillen served as an accident reconstructionist for nineteen years. The last fourteen years of service, Mr. McMillen served as the Director of Accident Reconstruction for the Department of Public Safety. In addition to serving as the lead reconstructionist for MHP, Mr. McMillen also served as the Department of Public Safety's Fleet Safety Officer, the Certifying Official for the State of Mississippi Accident Reconstruction Proficiency Exam, and the supervisor of the Fatal Analysis Reporting System (FARS).
Mr. McMillen is a certified instructor in numerous areas within the field of accident reconstruction.
He is certified as an instructor for Accident Investigation, On-Scene Traffic Homicide Investigation, Technical Accident Investigation, Accident Reconstruction, Forensic Mapping, Crash Data Retrieval Systems Technician's course, Computer Assisted Diagramming and 3-D Animation, and the State of MS Automated Crash Reporting System (ReportBeam). Mr. McMillen has been certified as an expert in the field of Accident Reconstruction numerous times in the State of Mississippi Circuit Court, State of Tennessee Circuit Court, and United States Federal Court systems.
As the owner of McMillen Reconstruction, LLC, Mr. McMillen is involved in consulting as an expert in the field of collision reconstruction. Mr. McMillen also served a certified trainer for Trimble Forensics (formerly known as Visual Statement) where he taught Trimble Forensics' computer assisted diagramming and 3-D animation software. Mr. McMillen had served as a trainer in computer assisted diagramming and 3-D animation from 2005 thru 2019.
